Music
As a singer/songwriter, I’ve played at The Highline Ballroom, Webster Hall, Brooklyn Bowl, Rockwood Music Hall, Littlefield, The Juilliard School, and more. I’ve worked as a solo artist and session singer, musical theater performer,
and member of bands galore.
Here are a few fun projects I’ve done:
Song Lyrics—Hope from a River
Hope from a river is coming my way
You’re picked up and pulled to the sky
A month or a year or a decade today
Since loneliness sold me her lie
Storms up ahead make me feel more alive
I long to blow into their arms
Dreaming of colors I lay in the dark
Waiting to hear the alarm
From the sky
You will fall into my eyes
And maybe not
But maybe we’ll grow tall
From the sky
You are not so far away
So I’ll wait forever for your fall
Do you float above me or fly far away?
Is that blood or water I feel?
I can hear thunder and I can see gray
But I don’t know if it’s real
Whispering into the echoless ground
Barren, the earth on my skin
Screaming I know that I won’t make a sound
But I pray to see where the river has been
From the sky
You will fall into my eyes
And maybe not
But maybe we’ll grow tall
From the sky
You are not so far away
So I’ll wait forever for your fall
